Rabbi Nasanayl Braun has served as the Senior Rabbi of Congregation Brothers of Israel in Long Branch, NJ, since 2005.

Rabbi Braun received his B.A. in Economics (1996), Rabbinic Ordination (Semicha) (2000), and Master’s in Jewish Education (2003) from Yeshiva University, and he is also an alumnus of Yeshivat Har Etzion (1992–1994).

Following his ordination, Rabbi Braun served for six years as a Rabbi at Lincoln Square Synagogue in Manhattan. He also worked as Program Director at the Council of Orthodox Jewish Congregations, taught Jewish Studies at Manhattan Day School, and served as an adult education teacher in Cape Town, South Africa.

In addition to his leadership at Brothers of Israel, Rabbi Braun is an active member of the local Vaad Hakashruth and the Jersey Shore Orthodox Rabbinate (JSOR). He has also served on the Executive Committee of the Rabbinical Council of America.

Rabbi Braun and his wife, Tamar (née Wadler), are the proud parents of six children: twins Avi (Brocha) and Tova, Ariel, Eitan, and twins Talia and Shai.
