Rabbi David Sher has served as the summer rabbi at Brothers of Israel since 2008.
A Long Branch native, Rabbi Sher has been part of the Brothers of Israel community since childhood.

He received his Smicha from Yeshiva University's Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminar (RIETS). In addition, he holds a Master's in Jewish Education from the Azrieli Graduate School & a Master's in social work from Rutgers University.

Rabbi Sher teaches Limudei Kodesh  full-time at Yeshivat Frisch in Paramus, NJ, and also works as a therapist at Achieve Behavioral Health in Monsey, NY.

He and his wife, DT, live in Bergenfield, NJ with their two daughters.
